The Capitol Steps
Thursday, October 16, 2008 – 7:30 p.m.
In 1981 three U.S. Senate staffers were asked to provide entertainment for a Christmas party. They were going to do a traditional nativity scene, but they couldn’t find a virgin or three wise men in Congress – and the Capitol Steps were born!
Featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered,” “Good Morning America,” and CNN’s “Inside Politics,” the Capitol Steps’ political satire will keep you laughing ‘til your sides hurt. From prominent personalities to the national headlines, nothing and no one is sacred or safe. And the only complaints the Capitol Steps hear are from politicians who are not included in their program! Perfect preparation for the Presidential election.
